Terms of use

Last updated: October 15, 2026

The short version

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and the person who runs Anchor (“we”). By using Anchor at anchor.meisum.org, its other web address, or an app version, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Anchor.

What Anchor is — and isn't

Anchor helps you log how you feel, see patterns over time, and keep your own plan for hard moments. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, therapy or a crisis service, and nobody monitors or responds to what you log. Charts and comparisons (including sleep and mood) show what tends to go together for you, not what causes what. Talk to a qualified professional about your health.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, use Anchor with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Your account

Your content

What you write and log in Anchor belongs to you. You give us only the permission needed to store and sync it for you, as described in the privacy notice. We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Connected services

If you connect another service, such as Oura, its own terms and privacy policy apply to that service. You can disconnect it in Settings at any time. We aren't responsible for other services' data, availability or accuracy.

Fair use

Please don't misuse Anchor: don't try to access other people's accounts or data, break or overload the service, get around its security or limits, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

Anchor is a small, non-commercial project. It may change, have downtime, or be discontinued. We'll try to give notice of big changes, and you can always export your data from the Trend page. Keep your own backups of anything important.

No warranty

Anchor is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that data will never be lost.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Anchor. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can't be waived.

Ending

You can stop using Anchor and delete your account at any time (Settings → Your account → Delete account). We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in an important way, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Continuing to use Anchor after that means you accept the new terms.
